Update...
We have hired (rented) a TV (32"), a tv stand and a dryer. We thought that'd make sense...and it isn't crazy expensive.
We bought a computer...a laptop. The digital photos are on it now so as soon as we get internet I'll upload them to the site.
We'll be getting phone, cell phone, digital cable and internet access sometime in the next week..maybe two weeks. We get our living room furniture this week...I think on Thursday.
We still haven't moved in yet. We have the apartment rented for the rest of this week and we'll likely take advantage of the furnished accomodations.
Hope all are having a good long weekend. We don't have a public holiday until October!
J and E love school. It is great! J is learning some maori words and a song. I'd like to learn some too.
Pig disease spreading between humans?
Work is going well. I'm starting to really get into the nitty-gritty. I have the opportunity to work on a paper on PPV(plum pox virus) which is neat cuz that pest is a big deal in Canada.
