Tour of the house

Our house is about 15 minutes away from down town. We have to drive up a mountain to get there.

We have a garage for storage and a short little driveway at the top of the property. You walk down a path, through the garden to our front courtyard. Our garden is filled with great plants but has been unkept for a bit. That will be a fun weekend activity to clean it all up.

Walk in the door and you have the kitchen on the left and the lounge (living room) in front of you. Here we have our new rattan furniture and our rented TV. It also has a nice fireplace that we are starting to use, rather than the electric heaters. Out from the back of the lounge is the door to our porch. I was out there on the weekend reading in a t-shirt (this is winter?). Also through the lounge is the door to the rest of the house. Off a little hall there is the bathroom, J's room and the stairs to the lower level.

Turn right from the bottom of the stairs and there is E and N room on one side of the hall and the laundry room and mini-office on the other side. Turn left and you have our bedroom. Inside our room we have our bathroom and the door to the lower porch.

At the end of the down stairs hall or from steps from the lower porch is our backyard. It would just fit a climbing gym...but right now is pretty muddy.
