Block Rockin' Beats
We went to Te Papa again to watch B.I.G (Boys In Growth) perform. They are hip hop dancers with a variety of styles - breakdancing, crumping, gliding, etc. The group was formed to give teens a positive outlet for their energies and to promote unity amongst inner city youth. They were great!
They held a workshop where the kids and I learnt some hip hop moves. Unfortunately, I have no rhythm. The kids did well though.
