In America

Just watched a great movie "In America" about an Irish family who move to New York to try and run away from the grief of losing their son. It was written by an Irish family who moved to the United States so it is partly autobiographical. There are amazing characters but the character of Mateo was the most interesting and complex.

The actor who played Mateo, Djimon Hounsou, did such an excellent job. Incidentally, Djimon Hounsou, has an interesting life story. He emigrated to Paris from Benin when he was thirteen and lived on the streets until he was "discovered" and became a fashion model...leading to roles in film.

The boys and I got our hair cut.

Last, but not least, our friends Karla and Dave have some great pics of our party and Nat's night out.

The little girl was very cute...so was her sister. Did you know they were sisters in real life too?
