Mount KauKau

Not homesick now...just did something amazing! The J, E and I just climbed a mountain, Mount Kau Kau to be specific. MOOOO!!! Within walking distance of our house is a trail up through the bush up to the top of the mountain. The scenery is totally Middle Earth-esque...Lord of the Rings. We followed a sheep path across the mountain when we got to the top. You could see all downtown Wellington in one direction, the South Island in another direction, and the ocean in most directions. Super cool.
