Up at the cottage

Before an excellent evening of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, broccolli, gravy, scones, pumpkin pie and a few glasses (or maybe it was bottles) of wine with our friends, we went to the cottage for the day. The fall colours were beautiful. ...and so is my wife. Doesn't she look heavenly!
We cleared some fallen trees out and burnt them in a bonfire. I was amazed at how fast it started to burn through the logs once it got going.
The drive up and back is also very pretty with rivers, streams and lakes along the road.
