Meet the new member of our family




It's a corn snake! We set the snake up in our room...it's a bit quieter there. We haven't decided on a name yet...nor, for that matter, figured out whether it's male or female. If you have any name suggestions...or opinions on its sex...let us know!

Great recommendation, Jenn. I was thinking along the lines of "Guttata the Gladiator, Devourer of Rodentia" after elaphe guttata, the latin name for the corn snake. (But I like your name better)

Of course, there are always the child-friendly classics:
- Mr. Wiggly
- Snakey-doodle, and
- Fang

I haven't any idea of what a good name would be, but on the subject of sex, I would suggest that yes, he/she should have sex. Immediately.

Excellent suggestions....we are still mulling it over...don't wanna rush into anything.

As for instructions in the link, that sounds like a lot of work. We may just pick a unisex name : )
