Cozy country cottage

Today, after a free breakfast at the local grocery store celebrating their anniversary, we went to Talie's Deda's (grandfather) cottage. The cottage was built by Talie's uncle and Deda, by hand since there was no electricity. It is a beautiful cottage on 85 acres of land with access to the Gatineau river. Five acres are kept cleared but the rest of the land is forest.

The one room cottage is heated by a wood stove, has room to sleep four or five, no electricity, no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse. I love it!!

We spent the afternoon throwing around a football, climbing trees, catching frogs and just enjoying nature.
