Buller Gorge

The West Coast of NZ was beautiful. It is the rainiest area and is extremely green as a result. Add in the ocean views and the rocky shores...and wow!!

From Punakaiki we headed north then northeast through Buller Gorge back towards Picton. On the way we stopped at the longest swingbridge (110 metres) and crossed over the raging waters of Buller Gorge. I thought it was pretty cool...Ethan though didn't love it. He was brave though, putting one foot in front of the other, slowly making it across the bridge. We decided that on the way back Talie and Ethan would take the faster way...a flying fox!
